Why Counselling?

Feel listened to, acknowledged and accepted

People choose to come to counselling for a number of different reasons and maybe you are here exploring your options because you are struggling right now. You may be struggling with work or family life. Maybe experiences from the past are negatively impacting your present.

Whatever the reason, counselling can provide you a calm space to explore these difficult times and help make sense of them.

Most of us experience times when life makes it hard to know how to be, who to turn to or what to think. Parts of our life can unravel with or without any reason and we can be left feeling hopeless, stuck, alone or overwhelmed. If you are experiencing one of a huge range of human responses to life's challenges then I may be able to help.

We come to therapy for many different reasons. Whether we have come to a point of crisis, depression or anxiety or an inability to go on with pain and dysfunction in our lives.

Unintentionally, we end up repeating painful patterns of behaviour that leave us feeling low, disconnected and at a loss as to how to find a healthy path forward.

Therapy can help you navigate your feelings, garner a greater insight and understanding of who you are and develop your potential.
